Logistics Management: Port of Cleveland

Larkin Express Logistics recently had an opportunity to work with a Crane & Rigging company to organize and transport 400 Tons of equipment that had been in long term storage. The stored equipment was pulled from the Port of Cleveland, organized, staged, and transported to Jobsite over a two-week period with zero safety incidents.

When asked to quote the work, Larkin built load plans to organize transport of the equipment utilizing over 50 flatbeds, stepdecks, and doubledrops for safe and efficient delivery. Larkin mobilized Project Management to be boots on ground support for the customer for Week 1. During this time, they organized transport resources, and executed to the presented transport plan. Once on site, Larkin identified areas to further optimize transport assets, reduced the total number of needed trucks, and further reduced cost for the Customer.

We look forward to more logistics management and planning opportunities like this one.
